Exitus, that's great you've lost weight. Yes, looking at older photos when we weighed more shows us how chubby we were even though we may not have truly realized it at the time (I didn't). However, being in my early 60s, I look older now weighing less because there's less fat to plump out the wrinkles! So now I'm spending $ on wrinkle creams, moisturizers, instead of sweets....
I know the problem. Make sure you are WELL hydrated. That helps to keep the skin looking healthier.
I remember walking past a drugstore window and glancing sideways saw myself. All I wanted to do was run to my car. It was a huge "holy sh!!" moment.

Woohoo! Seven months ago I started my diet, and today is victory day! I lost four inches off my waist, and about six off my mid section -- my goal has been met. I'm back in my small jeans again and they feel great!
...but not as happy about this post. it's not just sizes, it's quality of life. not in terms of eating, of mobility.
people are often cruel to the large.
what we should comment on is if we're happier, more mobile and have a better quality of life.
never refer to anyone, even yourself, as fat. gluttonous perhaps, but many aren't. someone might read this with the sizes people listed and weights and feel ugly and gross.
let's not do that to anyone.
