I am getting some really good information you guys. I am looking back through this post for tips on what to get at the grocery store today. Can someone tell me which fruits are NOT the healthiest? And is it just because of the amount of sugar? Also, I've been wanting to cut bread out of my diet, at least for a short time. This seems to be a challenging task though. For those who have done it, umm...how?!

Thanks for all the work out advice as well. Now that its getting warmer I will be walking more and hopefully using the bike more. I bought a jump rope, which I love doing, and I have plenty of dumbbells for weight lifting. I don't know the names of many work out poses, so I'll have to do some research there. But I think I've got a decent game plan for getting started now.

Here is some interesting info - I stay away from the high glycemic fruits and vegetables - when I do have a banana - it is a small piece of a banana and not the whole thing.....tropical fruits, watermelon and dates have the highest glycemic index....
