No, phentermine was one part of the combination. Fenfluramine was the other part and the one causing problems, subsequently getting pulled off the market.
I worked for a legal office that specialized in a class action lawsuit for heart damage caused by a phentermine product. All clients received echocardiograms to investigate possible heart damage.

Yes, he is - and as he was told in the other thread he posted the same thing in - it wasn't the Phentermine that created heart problems, it was the Fenfluramine. It was withdrawn from the market in the USA back in 1997 - 18 years ago.
When with minimum effort there is healthy rate of weight loss, is there really a need for a pill ?
I wouldn't say minimum effort. I've been working hard at trying to eat around 1500 calories, and it takes effort and I haven't been 100%, therefore I haven't seen a "healthy rate of loss," which in my eyes, would be one pound a week. I have also been walking, but knowing I have to walk intensely in order to see results.

I went to see a doctor who took a blood test and said that i should stay away from heavy carbs. So all I had to do is stop eating brad and rice and to loose like 1-2 lbs a week.
If you go to a doctor, do a blood test and see what food is making you fat. from then it seems easy
