So far, I'm at 12-13 pounds lost. I know it will take months more but better than nothing. Up to 4 miles a day walking and plan to introduce more activity.

I am doing weight watchers and I am down 35 pounds. Have about 30 more to go. I look and feel great! I started my journey (again) in 2011 and was down to about 50 lbs. but then I fell off the wagon for a year. Back on the wagon the last year. It's tough but I am not a quitter.
A few weeks ago, my Dr told me to loose 5 lbs before my next appt (in 2 mos). It's been 6 weeks, and I've managed to loose 10 lbs! I make sure to have protein with EVERY meal, and eat lots of non-starchy vegies. I love roasted vegies, so I make a big pan of them every other day or so, and use different spices on them so it doesn't get boring.
I read that it is the chemical emusifiers in bread that makes it so fattening. The emulsifiers are in Bread and Gluten flour, so I use a variety of regular flours. To make up for the emulsifiers, you add one egg white after the machine has run 2 minutes, and cut down on the water about 1 tablespoon. If the dough is still sticky, add more flour 1 T at a time. Next time, cut the water more. Be sure to use at least 1/2 regular white flour or the bread will be kinda heavy. It's really nice to enjoy a couple slices of bread every day and still keep loosing weight!
