Sorry if this has been asked before. I did a search and the only thing I found had no replies.

So, has anyone done the Ideal Protein Diet before? A co-worker of mine did is and loved it, but I'd like some more feedback. I have tried what seems like everything - South Beach, Weight Watchers, yada, yada. I always get discouraged because I lose weight crazy slow on them. I get frustrated and give up. I also don't have a ton of time to devote to logging food, measuring things out, etc. I work, have a family, etc.

That said, it seems like Ideal Protein may be worth a try. A lot is prepackaged, which makes like really easy. It also seems to have pretty quick results, which will help keep me motivated.

Hoping to get some honest feedback.

Seems like another protein sparing modified fast. A great way to lose fat quickly, but I think there are better PSMF approaches.

I've personally used this one. It's rock solid.

Several ladies in my neighborhood decided to do it all together thinking the support would help each other out. They all quit the program in under 2 weeks as it wasn't sustainable for any of them. I just watched them crumble and spend a lot of money on what they thought was another quick fix.

It's just another marketing ploy. Developing a sustainable system of eating for yourself is a better idea. What do you typically eat in a normal day?

Thanks, guys. I decided against it. Was pricier than I thought, but I do have to say the convenience was appealing.

I have been on IP for 7 weeks and lost 24 pounds. It's not easy but it's working for me so far. There is an alternative plan that I might start due to the cost but honestly I'm spending less than I used to because I ate out a lot.
