Me and me. I don't particulaly watch my weight and so far have been quite lucky even though the bad habit. I used to eat supper alot or munch snacks late at nights, now I notice as you get older once you gain belly fat its not easy to lose them. So before they got out of control, I gotta control my night snacking but still do at times
Used to do this. Have a bowl of cereal at 9 pm. Now if I have any snack it's fruit and right after my dinner bit no later than 7:30 pm, otherwise I have trouble sleeping.
Has anyone here who love to eat late night? what have done or ate not to gain weight?
I eat right up to bedtime, even when losing weight. The only thing that matters to me is TOTAL calories per day. If you eat too many you will gain weight. If you eat less you will lose weight. Pretty simple.
I did a food study some time ago where you write down everything you eat, results showed i was consuming 2000 calories between supper at 5pm and bedtime at 10 or 11pm,seems i was grazing all evening. solution was to eat nothing after supper,as that required more willpower than i could manage i now just go to bed at 7pm.
Someone in my family always seemed to eat before bed and get up in the middle of the night to snack. I can tell you first hand that you will definitely gain weight doing that.

My belly was getting bigger than I wanted...I read in Reader's Digest that our bodies are made to fast for at least 12 hours a day, and that eating late at night contributed greatly to belly fat...so I stopped eating before bed. I do get hungry but if I ignore it long enough it goes away. My stomach has shrunk significantly in just a couple or three weeks.
Try brushing your teeth when you feel the urge to get food at night. The mint is an appetite suppressant, plus who wants to eat with a clean mouth?
