What do you use instead of cow's milk? Almond milk, soy milk, rice milk?

I want to try an anti inflammatory diet, and want to try something different. I currently use 1/2 water and 1/2 skim milk.

Thanks.

I used to do skim milk, then switched to unsweetened almond milk. I don't like the taste of soy milk, but I do want to try coconut milk next.

I use water. Add it to my steel cut oats along with raw organic buckwheat honey and low sugar craisins.

Thanks. I think I will try water. I add vanilla protein powder anyway, so maybe it will be fine.

I noticed the almond and soy milks all say to use within 7 days of opening. I would use less than half of it in that time. Too much waste.

When I used to eat oatmeal, I used unsweetened coconut milk .. not soy for this gal, messes up thyroid big time. I've gotten so bored with oatmeal, can someone give me benefits of WHY I need to eat it again. I have a lb of organic oatmeal in my refrig that I bought for a friend and she had a fall and is in a rehab so I have all this oatmeal doing nothing.

Oats are low in fat, lowers cholesterol, high in fiber. What do you eat instead of oats?

Hi, I make soups and eat soup for breakfast very often. Veggie soups. Eggs, lamb patty, beef patty, not the typical american breakfast for a Long long time. No breads, bagels, etc.
