I happened to be in wal-mart the other day and saw this Holy Cow product in the aisle. I figured what the heck, it's cheap enough. Something like 2 something a bottle. I looked at the bottles and they are chemical free. I bought the glass cleaner and the all purpose. love, love, love, the glass cleaner, no streaks and no bad smell. I am going to have to go back and get one for each floor of my house.

Sounds great - except for the part about having to step foot into a Walmart (ours are horrible). Maybe I'll get someone who goes there to pick it up for me, love the no odor part.

I love love love love Holy Cow products!!

Their green Concentrated Cleaner is awesome! I use it for the shower, counters, as a spot treatment for the laundry, stain remover for carpets, so much stuff. It is excellent for breaking down grease and works as well on counters as any other commercial product. It does my glass shower stall walls well - it breaks down soap scum and cleans quickly.

It costs about $2.89 for 32 ounces at a local grocery store and I have one in every wet room (laundry, bathrooms and kitchen).

It's not in all stores. I know my local Walgreens sells the pink cleaner but not the green one. I have to drive a bit for my beloved green cleaner.

I use the pink for my granite, but now you have me on a mission to find the green.

How can they be "chemical free"? There has to be something in them. Even water is a chemical (H2O). Even organic stuff, like vinegar, is a chemical.

What other stores carry these products? Sorry but I refuse to set foot in a Wal-Mart... I did that ONCE... they are the tackiest, dirtiest stores I've ever seen! I do go to Whole Foods regularly but I know they don't carry this brand there; I'd have noticed an unusual name like that! We do have Target stores and they carry a brand called Method that's supposed to be a natural cleaner; but I tried a couple of their products and they were NOT effective at all, and way too fragranced. We need to use fragrance free products in our home due to allergies, so if the Holy Cow line isn't unscented we couldn't use it. So far the only things we've found that are nontoxic AND fragrance free are in the Seventh Generation line.

If you've been in only one Walmart only once, you have no way of knowing if it is typical of Walmarts (dirties and tackiest stores you've ever seen) or if you were in a particularly bad one. I assure you there are differences between Walmarts in that regard - I, for one, have never been in a dirty one. Whole Paycheck? Nope, but, then, Whole Foods is nothing like its origins or its original charter, not since they hired a Big Grocery Guy to run the place. You probably wouldn't have set foot in a Whole Foods if you'd been there in their beginnings. Way too crunchy granola long-haired hippies with dirty feet in sandals! (I can say that because I did shop there then and was one of those long-haired hippies.)

The Holy Cow website has a list of retailers and you can buy their products online, too, evidently.
