I use it to replenish the good bacteria in my gut, and also to help minimize water retention. I used to put a couple tablespoons in but that amount had no added benefits that I can tell so I cut back.

It's not a diet plan, ACV is a booster for your healthy regime. It speeds up digestion and helps reduce inflammation which reduces weight gain. It's not gonna help reduce sugar cravings, that comes directly from your insulin resistance factor.
To get rid of sugar cravings you need to control insulin by reducing frequency of meals. Avoid eating big meals and eating foods that are low on the glycemic index. Sugar and carbs are the main culprit that spikes insulin and causes sugar cravings. However eating an excess of proteins also increases insulin. The only thing that does not spike insulin are pure healthy saturated fats found in coconuts, avocadoes, butter.
