I am at 172 lbs and really prefer 180 lbs-185 lbs.

Today I ate....

5 oz of low-fat gouda cheese (was on sale for $6.99 pound)

1 baguette loaf (was on sale for .99 cents a loaf)

1 pound bowl of fruit salad with peaches, strawberries, mangos and pineapples.

12 ounces of kale with balsamic vingar dressing

about 8 ounces of frozen lentil, bean and veggie mixture (was on sale $2 bag)

about 16 oz yougurt

4 packages of fig bars

3 cups of coffee

This is typical for me. I have known people that say what I eat is different then the typical person but as much as I like food, I just don't have fancy tastes.

I have been to the doctor and they don't seem to be concerned about 5'11 and weight from 170-175 lbs. I remember early last year I was just over 180 in regards to weight and seemed to eat the same amount and now I am down to 172.

I don't have roommates at the current time, but it seems like I eat as much as many roommates in the past.

You have great (and normal) weight for your height - why would you want to be overweight?
With 185 lb your MBI would put you in the overweight range...but if you're losing weight, perhaps you should increase your intake.
(Normal BMI weight range for the height: 132.6lbs - 179.2 lbs)

Sounds about right. You get a lot of your protein from dairy. Try upping the beans and grab a handful or two of nuts during the day. Maybe a hard boiled egg or two.

wow, someone who thinks they eat to little, most of us would love to have that problem. I think your weight sounds right in line with what it should be and don't worry over being a few lbs too light or a few too heavy. It when you are grossly one way or the other. Everyone is built differently. It does look like you are a vegetarian, is that right? I agree with JustMike, you may want to add a couple of eggs. If nothing else, for a variety.

Right, you'd benefit from learning more about nutrition(protein, fiber, sodium, fat, etc.) and getting the best bang for your buck, foodwise.

Thats definitely too healthy. I'd add alternative vegetables like free range pizza.
Now I want fig bars.!

If I recall correctly, you need to eat about 15 calories per pound to maintain current weight.

So, depends on how many calories what you are eating adds up to.

Of course, this will be altered if you exercise above the norm.

1 pound of fruit? That sounds like an excessive amount of sugar, but I guess if you're already under-weight it's not a huge issue.
