Brother's wife is asking me to get a herbalife when I told her to choose a gift. I know herbalife is just food pyramid scheme so i dont want her to have it. On the other hand, I also dont want to appear as unwilling to give her a gift. How do say to her so that I still get her something and at the same time having her realize that herbalife is no good?

so You told your sister in law to choose a gift but because you disapprove of her choice you think she should choose something else, yes! Is Your sil uneducated or unable to make choices that suit her? Is it worth creating tension over this? Have you discussed Herbalife with her? As much as you dislike her choice,why do you have the right to determine her choices?
