Evening, everyone. I did a search but nothing came up specific to scales going back a couple of years.

What scale, for home use, do you recommend? We're looking for accurate and consistent. Not particularly interested in all the BMI measurements and other add-on's. Just something that is consistent, and does to the tenth of a pound.

I'd actually like one of the doctors scales where you slide weights across, but those can be really expensive. Can anyone recommend a consistently accurate scale that you use and are happy with?

Thanks!

I'm using this:

https://www.amazon.com/EatSmart-Prec...22843142&psc=1

Reasonably priced and works very well. It does BMI and such, but I just use it to weigh myself.
It's ony 30 bucks... a good scale without BMI isn't going to cost any less.

This is the thing I bought:

https://www.amazon.com/Etekcity-Prec...7VPG9SEENJFPVN

I don't know if I would recommend it or not. Despite good reviews on Amazon, it shows me gaining 3.2 lbs. since I got it on Nov. 3rd. And this despite what I thought was perfect vegan OMAD.

The only way to know for sure that it's right is to put weights on it. I do it from time to time to make sure mine's reading correctly.
I've seen a scale vary just by putting it on a different spot on the floor.

I reset it. I moved it to several locations. The same reading, no matter what I did.

I use the detecto balance beam medical scale. It’s the only one I’ve found to stay accurate and isn’t influenced by other things like how you stand etc
