I started the no sugar no carb challenge on Wednesday. I tied it in to Ash Wednesday and Lent so that I would have a date reference and timeline, although I am not religious.
I hope to do fine without sugar, but carbs are the challenge. No rolls or breakfast bagels? Yikes!
I am concerned too about the inevitable and well documented "sugar blues" that people experience a few days in. I have the Atkins bars on hand as well as strawberries.
I do not like cookies, and eat little by way of cakes and such anyway. I will continue this until Easter, then reevaluate the success and what to continue.

No carb?
That's nearly impossible. How many are they letting you have?
I try to keep mine under 20.

I didn't realize on the side list they may say Zero carbs...but there still are some...so if you have 6 items that say Zero ...it could add up to 5 carbs depending on how much of the thing you're having.
I say this for super serious people regarding carb intake.
Great thread.

I don't measure carbs nor count cals.

I eat meat, cheese and vegetables only so am surely getting some carbs via the vegetables but not many as I eat only certain low carb-ish ones:

tomatoes
peppers
cabbage
zucchini
and avocado (fruit).

We say ''no carbs''...but I think we mean, extremely low, cuz they're even in broccoli.

I agree you need some carbs. I have been doing Keto since September. Lost 27 pounds now just maintaining as I am at my goal weight. I have 22 to 25 carbs a day.

For a diabetic, anything under 7.0 is considered to be controlled.
I haven't had an A1C over 7 in many years.
