Interesting podcast:

Low Carb MD Podcast: Episode 20: In Defense of Docs

I don't like all of these podcasts because they promote, for the most part, ketogenic diets based on eating meat. One in particular is very negative about vegans. Nevertheless, Dr. Fong is still a sort of hero of mine and he is neutral on the subject, stating that he doesn't care what someone's dietary practices are, as long as it works for them.

A lot of his patients use low carb IF and get off insulin.

I don't know what group you're referring to, but I haven't paid any money. Or bought his books. And the Facebook groups and the podcast are free, also. His YouTube videos are free as well. You definitely don't have to pay to get the information.

I'm swallowing low carb IF hook, line and sinker.
If I lose weight this week it'll be awesome because I wasn't compliant yesterday.

Maintain my weight by being compliant during the week while taking a free day on the weekend? Yes, please!
I just have to get to my goal. At the rate I'm losing, it should happen sometime this summer.

Thanks for sharing KZ - I'm a huge fan of IF, and I love that you don't have to go low carb to have success!

(although I fully acknowledge that low carb / Keto are fantastic options!)

You're very welcome! Anything that diminishes free radicals is definitely worth pursuing. Especially after a cancer scare I had eight years ago.
