My EatSmart scale finally went out after several very good years. I'm about to get a new one and was looking at these two.

I don't mind having extra bells and whistles on a scale, but is it worth it? Are these inexpensive store brought scales really accurate at calculating fat percentage? It would be something new though since my original scale just measured weight.

Not really. It's not the most accurate.

I go by the "clothes test" and the "mirror test". You can get a general sense of 20%, 25%, 30%.

I ultimately found out my body fat % by getting a DEXA scan.

Buy a body-length mirror, a lot cheaper and insanely accurate!

I have one and I like it. As others mentioned a mirror and clothes test, I use those also.
