Around September 2018, In went to the ER with blood sugar level around 500+ , a1c of 13+ and 245 LBS. I was literally drinking about 8 sodas a day.
Immediately after that, I stopped regular sodas completely and dropped to around 190 FAST and normal blood sugar levels. My blood sugar level is still normal now and my diet and level of exercise has remained the same the whole time, and yet I'm back up to 210 and have pretty much been stagnant there. How is this possible?
Your body is burning less calories than you are consuming. Write down every single thing you eat in a day, even if it is just a small bite. I am pretty sure you will find your answer.
It is incredibly easy to over eat.
If your calories have not changed you may want to see a doctor.

Do you have any other changes? Have you started a new medication? Some medications might result in weight gain. Have you moved from working in office to working at home? Even in that situation, you might be walking around a lot in the office while you are essentially in the same place at home. If there is really no change whatsoever other than weight gain, it is time to talk to your doctor because you might have some other issue like hypothyroid.
