I feel like the best way to maintain a weight or lose weight is a healthy combo of diet and excercise. I think buying into a special diet product is a waste of money.

'TOO MUCH sugar" is very bad for the human body.

How much is too much? It is 100% dependent on the person who is consuming it.

For the average person, a teaspoon in their coffee, the fructose found naturally in a piece of fruit, and a single-scoop of normal mundane ice cream in a day's time will not be "too much." For a diabetic, it might be "too much." For anyone needing to lose weight, they might want to make that ice cream a weekly treat instead of a daily dessert but otherwise - it's not too much.

While it's true that in very moderate amounts sugar may not be that harmful it's also true that consuming sugar has absolutely no benefit to one's health. Sugar has no nutritional value and is not necessary for good health. There is ample evidence that for the majority of people, minimizing their sugar intakes leads to better health outcomes.

Fried-dough pizza with jarred sauce and shelf-stable canned "grated cheese product" also has no nutritional value, but having no nutritional value is no reason to make billion dollar ad campaigns warning people not to ever eat it.

If you're at the carnival during its yearly visit to the church parking lot, and you have no health issues which would require that you refrain, then it's OKAY to eat a fried-dough pizza at the carnival.

Lots and lots of things have "no nutritional value" but are consumed every single day. I'll posit that nutrition - good or bad - begins with the olfactory receptors in your nose and the sensory buds on your tongue. That's why people don't eat bark - even though bark has fiber, which is GOOD for nutrition. Instead, we eat oatmeal, or cruciferous vegetables, or the myriad of other fiber-rich foods. We eat it because it tastes good.

Sugar DOES have benefit to the health by the way. Your body requires energy. Carbs are the human body's #1 source of energy. Sugar is a carb. Therefore, sugar is one of several options to help the human body store energy. It is not the ONLY source of carbs, but it is certainly one of them.

In addition, if someone is experiencing a diabetic emergency, the #1 first aid approach is to give that person a piece of candy. Not sugar-free candy. Real actual candy with real actual sugar. In an emergency, that sugar can save their life.

It is very easy to lose weight without working out or eating healthy. All you have to do is get cancer.

Is it really possible to lose weight without diet or exercise? (weight loss, low carb)
Yes.
If you sit in a very cool tub (even iced down if you can stand it) for 1 hour a day you will lose weight without changing your diet.

I think the options are:
1. immerse yourself in some sort of a cryochamber for hours

2. get a liposuction or some other device out there to suck out fat

3. get hunger reducing medications

I guess the magnets and the cement are new, but they've been wiring people's jaws shut for decades. And I'd probably still get a delicious Steak 'n Shake milkshake every single day....!
