Kim, her sister, I guess one of her cousins and her mom are at the gym early each morning working their asses off on the elliptical and treadmills. Actually, her mom is there much more consistently.
I really doubt she's taking that stuff. She's just a paid spokesperson.
Supplements and pills like that do not work. Save your money and buy healthy food with it instead, or a gym membership.
Geek speaks truth! Do NOT waste your time or money! I tried a few supplements. One of them I gained weight. The other was years ago when they had ephedra in them and I thought I was going to die from a heart attack.
I'll tell you a quick story sportsfan....I was always a nice 125 ish pounds at 5 ft 4 in. I had 2 kids and got fat a few years after the 2nd one. I topped off at 192~I cried . I got a wake up call when my mom sent me pictures of her and I from our vacation we went on. I was huge! I got very angry at myself. I decided that day to change. I got a cheap treadmill and ran and ran on it. I cut out ALL drinks with sugar. ALL junk food. I ate normal food just less of it. I quickly dropped around 40 ish pounds. (i don't remember the exact number). Now I did come to a halt....but it was my fault. I maintained that loss still, just didn't loose any more. (okay I put 10 back on after moving south) (but they are came back off). I recently started a weak attempt at low carbing and have lost a few already. But the moral of the story is you really do need to start out with exercise and eating sensibly! Just try it! Give yourself a few weeks of SERIOUS trying! Keep us posted!
thanks all, you're right, i should invest that in a gym membership and some protein shakes, probably better off.
great story "dani"! congrats on the weight loss. my goal is to lose 15 lbs. (or at least start with 10, then go from there!) I just joined a gym today, and plan to write out some menu ideas. I ljust look at my gut and think, UGHHHH.. and the pictures of me from my cruise last year in a bathing suit almost made me cry!! Another nice thing is the gym I joined is walking distance, so that will add an extra boost. (until winter comes, that is!!)
I'll keep you posted!
If anything do 48 hours on organic juice or organic raw food. It will detox you and help with loss. Pesticides in regular food can pollute the thyroid and slow the metab. They made this tea called "yogi detox tea". Its rather cheap and you can drink it on the 48 hour detox of your choice. (food or juice)
thanks, pitt! i think we've talk before about some detox ideas. I tried the Yogi tea, but felt nothing. No bathroom trips, or anything.
I'll try the organic juice fast, maybe a gentle laxative might help the bloat?
