Yeah, it doesn't work for me. I do admire your discipline though.

If I get them for Christmas/Holiday presents and I can't give them away, I open it, eat a few, and immediately throw the box away in the outside garbage. I might make it two days. Then I'll eat 1.8 pounds of chocolate on the third.

Get some of those little snack baggies and portion out your chips in these. Then, you avoid the hand in the big bag (like I do with beet chips) and hopefully not over indulge.

I agree that sometimes just a taste or two is enough to satisfy a craving. It's why I always split a dessert.
