I found that cutting back on meal sizes works well for me.

I have never been a breakfast eater. Even as a kid I never liked breakfast. That is why I am content to eat lunch and dinner. I eat pretty much the same pattern. Lunch is 4-6 ounces of protein, 2-3 cups of veggies and sometimes a small piece of fruit. Dinner is pretty much the same. Although I do make soup or chili for dinner for quick meals.

I'm just the opposite. I usually wake up hungry and love breakfast. I don't feel like eating a big meal within a few hours of bedtime. But I can see how people who do eat a good-size dinner wake up not wanting breakfast.

I've also found that including fresh fruit with breakfast and a green salad with lunch helps with weight loss.

Breakfast doesn't need to be eggs/cereal/toast or anything similar. Breakfast can be steak/salad/sandwich. The word itself gives you the clue: All it means is the first meal of the day. The meal that "breaks" your "fast" from the previous day's last meal.

Macaroni and cheese with a piece of chicken, consumed at noon, is breakfast - if you didn't eat anything else after you woke up that morning.
