CBC Marketplace: The Bernstein Diet (http://www.cbc.ca/consumers/market/files/health/bernstein_diet/ - broken link)

That diet seems so wierd to me.

"The fat content of the Bernstein diet is not restricted to what you put in your mouth. It also includes soaps and creams.
Clients are restricted to cream-free soaps and hypoallergenic or water-based creams. In fact, he offers one on his website, specially designed for dieters."

Thanks for posting this Pitt......

Another scam diet trying to take peoples money. He says that it's his vitamin injections that's causing the weight loss and charging money for this then he states that the diet is between 850 to 950 calories a day for it to work. You think !!! I'd starve on this.

900 calories daily is 1 cup of oatmeal (300 cals) with no milk or fruit or anything added to it 3 times daly. That's it. Then he has the audacity to say that if your not losing wieght fast enough then cut back on calories even more...... Now it's 2 bowls of oatmeal a day for weeks or months etc. At least you don't have to exercise as with only 2 bowls of oatmeal a day you'd have no energy to workout.

This has me laughing......

I hope this guy doesn't get confused with Dr. Richard Bernstein, a well respected diabetes doctor who has written his own diet books. This other guy's giving Bernstein's a bad name, it seems.

That's just insane. All of those suckers are going to just gain that weight right back. Not sustainable by any stretch of the imagination. Why doesn't he just call it the "slow death by starvation diet?"
