Is this true or not? I have heard a lot of people say that taking vitamins makes them hungrier. I take cod liver, flaxseed, B, B12, and a multi. Am I doing myself more harm than good? Does anyone have any scientific evidence to present on this topic?
Well some pills have starches and sugar as fillers. That will make your blood sugar go up and down. It could trigger hunger. But more likely they are triggered by "diet" foods that have fake sugars or sugar as filler in place of fat. It does the same thing.
You body craves two things when its hungry - calories and nutrition.
After restoring your body with healthy food or vitamins hunger starts to drop because its being fed the important part: Nutrients.
Over cutting cals makes people hungry too.
You should only cut 200 if you have that always hungry problem.
i agree with pitt. good vitamins will actually reduce cravings since cravings are your body's way of telling you you need nutrition/calories. (BTW- sugar/carb cravings tend to be a sign of yeast overgrowth or body needing B vitamins.)
Yeh...I cant believe the difference...I think they are better than diet pills at curbing hunger.(no bad side effects) The only problem is it seems to take awhile to kick in.
