Alli prevents a portion of the fat that you consume to remain undigested, and subsequently eliminated. You will lose weight, slowly and gradually, if you use it as perscribed, and consume a moderatly low fat diet with appropriate caloric content for your weight, age and activity level. Alli is EXPENSIVE, and potentially harmful if not used according to package direction, as many vitiamins that the body needs are carried in "fat". The recommendation is to use no more than 3 pills per day, and to take a comprehensive multi vitamin before bedtime each evening.
