Yes, I have noticed a change in my tastebuds.
Also, when I do eat something now like chocolate, I can taste it and I savor it.
In the past, I woofed it down.
I hate it anymore. Chocolate not counted....Thats always good.
But some fruits I even have to break with water because its so sweet.
I did a low carb phase and bread tasted like english biscuts to me.
I didnt even like sandwiches for awhile.
It is really strange to go for those favorites and have them taste different than you remember. Ben and Jerry's makes a fat free that is way lower in calories if you really are getting an itch for it.
I had my very favorite Half Baked by B&J last night and... I can't even believe I'm saying this but.... it didn't taste good!!!
I can't believe it but this might be my first step in kicking my B&J addiction!!!
Since you started on your journey have you noticed that certain foods you couldn't live without don't taste as good???
How much did you eat of the Ben and Jerrys? There are 4 servings in that delightfully tempting package.
Yes, I have lost the taste for certain foods, too. I still like salty stuff like chips so I have to find a way to dislike them. I am turned off by chocolate and decadent items (except for Tiramisu).

I absolutely have noticed! I used to LOVE bakery cakes, but about a year into eating right (most of the time) I noticed they started tasting weird to me, definitely not treat worthy. I ran into quite a few of those foods. Most breads taste bitter on the sides of my tongue now, especially hotdog and hamburger buns. Very strange!
