Several years ago, I read a funny article about how to write a best selling diet book. As I recall, the advice was to mention a classy or exotic place in the title, promise fast results, and make it nearly impossible to follow the diet, so nobody could tell if it worked or not.
But it got me thinking, and I designed the "Hawaiian Honeymoon Diet". It introduces changes in stages (#1, Eat More Veggies!) that last 2 weeks (the honeymoon part). Then you keep up with that change and add another, like cutting back on sugar.
Sadly, while it mentioned an exotic locale, it did not offer fast weight loss and was easy to follow, so I never finished writing it.
I currently eat pretty much the same as BijouBaby described above. Works for me.
