Erm, the OP's first post about breastfeeding was posted in 2009. Doubtful she needs advice on the diet/breastfeeding combo anymore.

DO NOT GO ON ANY DIET UNTIL YOU HAVE STOPPED BREASTFEEDING. If you are worried about the weight, you should concentrate on exercising. You ABSOLUTELY need to make sure you get plenty of food/nutrition for THE SAKE OF YOUR BABY. Until then, you should spend your time/energy on physical exercise.

Any "diet" that says you can eat pizza and ice cream is just flat out STUPID!! STOOOOOOOOOOO-PID!!!!!

Hi Cava1990 & Lemon & Lime. This diet is easier for me because it counts calories and most carbs are heavy in calories so this diet helps me to monitor, also helps to eat 6 small meals a day rather than 3 moderate to large meals. An added benefit is that by eating smaller meals throughout the day I rarely feel hungry. So, I can eat 1500 cals/day, and divide that into 6 meals, and the body does not go into famine mode. When I have been in situations where I had to split the cals into a 3 meal day, I find I feel hungry and deprived. As for Joel Marion, I do not recall hearing about that diet. As I said before, most sensible diets will work, it is about changing lifestyles. This one just happens to work for me. Oh yeah, one more thing, I suffer a lot less from acid reflux since I started this diet...it's the little things.
Best of luck to everyone.
