I have had trouble losing 10 pounds with WW Flex so I am trying a new thing.
I am eating 200 calorie meal/snacks 5 to 6 times per day.
I wait 2 -3 hours after eating and when I get hungry I eat a high protein and high fiber
200 calorie snack.

I think it may work because if I eat smart choices I can easily go 2 1/2
hours before I am hungry again.

Has anyone tried this approach.

Yes. But I ate way more calories. What I did was see what I used for my stats BMR wise. Then I took off 200 cals. Then I chopped up the remaining in even cals just like that. If I was hungry that day I ate 200 more cals to hit my BMR.

This can help speed up loss because it helps with keeping your blood sugar even.
The thing you have to watch out for is that your portions are correct.

Did you try the flex and stick to it for longer than 3 months when it was not working?
How many calories were you having with that?

I meant to say I had done the Core Diet ,not flex.
Core helped me get from 155 to 144 but I have been
stuck on 144 for a month.

I have a small frame and think I need about 1200
to lose weight so I thought even 6 mini meals would
hit that 1200 mark.

I learned on Core to eat lots of lean meats , fruits, vegetable,
low fat dairy, and whole grains.

Yeh...once you get around 130-ish you need to have the 1200ish or do a little bit of activity (at least 30 minutes of something that gets your heart going) to see loss. Stick to whatever you are doing though for at least 3 months before making changes. Stalls are normal for up to 3 months. I think this change seems fine to make though because you lost 10 already. If you were just eating healthy before and not counting cals its easy to go over the lower cal limit with meat intake.

Your frame size does not mean you need less calories. You go by weight and muscle to fat ratio.
A smaller frame just means your healthy weight is mostly likely on the lower end of healthy and calcium intake is super important.

Calorie Calculator - Daily Caloric Needs

That has a calculator that uses various formulas for figuring intake and also a frame guideline for a weight.

My dietician recommended this diet plan for me. I lost 40 pounds in 3 months. So yes, it does work--very well! My small meals were around 300 calories each, 6 times a day.

Pitt

Thanks for the link.

It says I need 1190 for weight loss with little activity
and 1360 with 3X/week exercise.

As soon as the weather improves I will get back into walking
3 to 4 times per week but with all the bad weather I am not doing much now.
