Over the past couple weeks I've been losing weight. The first week was insignificant. I lost a couple pounds at most and was not experiencing any issues (just eating a little less and got some exercise). I wasn't even trying to lose weight. I was only trying to get more exercise. But over this past few days I've had a very noticeable decrease in appetite. Strangely enough, I've been feeling very hungry, yet I don't have much desire to eat. I basically have to force myself to eat. And I only eat a small portion of food here and there. It's quite odd and I haven't ever experienced anything like this. As of today (assuming the scale is accurate), I've lost about 8 pounds. I'm 5'3 and 132 lbs. I was 140 for the past several months.

Is there an explanation for this?

Adding excercise is a sure way to lose weight! I only wish more people would discover the "secret"

I'm not trying to lose weight. Plus I only exercised for like four days, but stopped simply because I don't have the energy. I just feel blah.

Everytime I eat, I don't get that "satisfied" feeling. Something just isn't right.

Then I would see a doctor if that is possible.

Unintentional weight loss is something that needs to be checked out by a doctor.
There are several possible causes - hyperactive thyroid, medications etc etc. It may be a symptom of something quite simple or possible something much more serious. Please see your physician.

See a doctor ASAP. It could be nothing or it could be something serious like cancer.
