Alright, so I am terribly sleep-deprived b/c the new puppy (about 18-24 months old) whines all night. I don't crate him, as he is potty trained and hasn't shown any signs of being a chewer. I think he may be anxious b/c he isn't used to his new surroundings which is sad. We've been scowering the neighborhood we found him in, put up signs, and posted a found ad on CL and no luck. He's so sweet, but I don't want him to be uncomfortable. Would anyone recommend otc calming meds that are available at Petsmart? I know he isn't needing to go out, hungry, or wanting attention. He literally cries himself to sleep. It's super sad and I need help!
