I'm glad I thought to take my camera to the lake today. I LOVE the fact that my pup has taken to the water so quickly. (Yup, that's my little guy following the big guy into the water ) At one point, he got too deep and went totally under the water, but this video shows that my little smart pup knew *exactly* where to stop after that...



It was too bad that some fuddy-duddy decided to call the local ranger because my dog and about 5 others were off leash enjoying the water.

i am TRYING to get bailey and dave swimming..... so far, they just wade around... and dave will bounce around and splash.... neither will go deep enough to swim yet......

Ugh..we have people like that by me too..and its a dog beach! But dogs must be leashed at all times on the beach so the second they see them off leash, they call the rangers. Some people need to get a life. Cute picture though!

This guy was just walking along the path. The dogs weren't even looking in his direction. He had to have had the ranger on speed dial, because it literally took him about 10 minutes to arrive. People really need to just mind their own business...
