Hello all! My almost 7 month old has some sort of irritation near her eye. I thought it was her tear stain, I usually trim that area to get the stained hairs out but when I looked closer it looks like her skin is raw...like very pink/red. I noticed she was itching it but its not constant. What do you think it can be? I always wash her face in the morning and the eye area with water and sometimes Johnson's baby foam but I have been doing this for months so I don't think she would be getting irritated from that now. What can I put on it? Neosporin or hydrcortisone?
Also she was spayed a few weeks ago and she had a stitch sticking out, I pulled it out with a tweezer and it came out very easily but now that area is swollen...like a little ball...I put neosporin on that, is this normal??
I waited it out for two days and everything seemed to clear up on its own. I did put neosporin on her spay incision which I think helped her heal there. She is all good now!
