UPDATE: @Villalobos Rescue AND The Brittany Foundation are ON FIRE AND EVACUATING!!! THEY NEED TO MOVE 200+ PIT BULLS, WILDLIFE, AND SMALL DOGS RIGHT NOW!!! THEY NEED PEOPLE, CRATES, CARS/TRUCKS TO HELP MOVE DOGS NOW!! THE CTR IS NORTH OF LA - 36220 ANTHONY ROAD, AGUA DULCE 91390.
I just left a VM for PetsMart Charities' Emergency Relief manager, advising them of this emergency and asking for help with evacs. Will post again if I hear further info.
Is that the same rescue center that was featured on Animal Planet a while back. I wish I was there I sure would jump in and help. I hope no humans or dogs are harmed. Please keep us updated.
Also, do you have a contact name & ph # for either of the rescues? If they need a place to house the animals, I have contacts in Fillmore & possibly Castaic; the Fillmore site is a large Dobe rescue and may have space.
