i need help!! i just got a puppy, and until she starts having diarrhea, i was cleaning up the yard pretty well.. but now is watery poop and i cant pick it up... so i spray with water... but still lots of flies around the yard... what can i do? is there a product i can buy to make the flies go away?
Oh, dear! Well, I am sure that someone suggested this on another thread but yogurt will help to get your dog's gatrointestinal system back in order (yes, I read about the incident about the tandoori chicken--that sucks. But try to think positive: at least it wasn't rat poison or something really harmful!)
I have never used these but they may be worth a try:
Yep get you some lime dust from a feed store and sprinkle it in your yard it helps and now you might want to get a yard maintenance plan going so no more flies .
If the yard is that bad, I'd be more concerned w/ the diarrhea and get her to a vet.
My thoughts exactly!
edit: Just saw your post about her getting to some chicken....If she is not better today, a vet visit is def. in order. That pup will dehydrate in no time at all.

StarlaJane!!! thank you so much for your advice!!! i gave her yougurt, and she is totally fine now!!! thank you thank you!!!
I am so happy to hear that. Hopefully, she is feeling better now, as well.
I would also call your vet. Yogurt is great to relieve GI issues but it can also mask/temporarily relieve a more serious issue. It is great for getting the situation under control but a vet call/visit is still a good idea to be on the safe side. Good luck and keep us posted
