I have pet insurance on one of my five dogs. He is a large breed dog and I have used his insurance yearly- not for medical problems, but my insurance helps with yearly vacs and heart worm. Every year if I pay @300.00 in yearly shots, check up and heart worm meds I get half of that money back within weeks. I choose to get insurance for him because he is a large breed dog and as they get older problems arise. He also has ear infections (allergies) yearly so I get half back for those visits as well. I pay little of $50.00 per month and he is 9 years old.

I have good relations with my vet. IF something comes up and it's too much he does take payments [on disabilty so he knows money's tight]
