Great story.

One of our deputies stopped traffic for a mother muscovy duck and her ducklings to cross a main intersection in town once. The media just happened to be at the same intersection and got a picture of it and had it in the paper. Poor guy was ribbed for months after that. Instead of his call sign 1C20, he was called 1 Quacker 20. It was all in good fun and nice to know we had yet another wonderful animal loving deputy in the department.
