Spent the weekend up in the bay area for my friends Halloween Party. Her daughter in Vet school at UC Davis and her boyfriend came for the party and weekend too and brought their new dog Cooper. He is a 2 yr old Great Pyrenees and what a lover boy, makes a great pillow when you lay on the floor to watch TV! Thought I would share a photo of him with you. They have only owned him a few weeks but he is right at home as you can see he is even very comfortable with me and we just met!

Owned 3 Great Pyrenees since 1995 and had one litter. They don't call the "great" for nothing. In the process of taking in a rescue as of today. You will never meet a better dog or person in my opinion!

Talking Dogs know...

Dogs know good people when they smell them. You can't hide from kids and dogs they have that "sense" about them.

That is why I trust my dogs to preform a dog test on people. It's like a litmus test. Cats are good for it too!

(if I had a labrador, I'd call it a lab test. If you have a cat do it, it's cat scan! Sorry, couldn't resist!)

That is a beautiful Pyre!!!

Yea I think this is a great breed and a great dog for these two and it is obvious how much they already adore him. The girl is in vet school and grew up with a border collie and her family has raised 10 guide dog puppies ( Labs, Goldens, a cross of the two and one german shepherd) so he is in a great home story was he belonged to some drug dealers that got busted.

They are fantastic. The local President of the HS next to us has six of them. All rescues. All indoors. Along with a golden and a cocker and a Saint Bernard. Her house is bursting at the seams! They are all so incredibly sweet though!
