I found this little girl running around on the four lane highway down at the corner. Stopped and asked the guy and his son that live there if it was there puppy and they said no, someone dropped her and another off about a week ago but they'd not seen the other in a couple days. He also was upset because she's been getting in his corn.

*sigh* I went out for coffee filters and came home with a puppy. I swear it's a magnetic pull. Gah!

Anyway, I sent her photo to the HS pres and asked if she had any rescues that would take her. Within an hour she found one that can pick her up tomorrow, so she's here to play for about 24 hours. Since the one cocker boy has turned out to be a nightmare and I had a beagle/bassett returned that's got an attitude problem and still have my daughter's 'boxter', 24 hours is about all I have time for a puppy!

She's been playful and outgoing since about 45 minutes after coming through the door. Just a sweet little ball of fur. Guessing she's 7 or 8 weeks old. Not a clue in the world what she's mixed with, but based on her size now I'd say another large or giant breed dog. I know there's a Newfie down the road and some people the other direction have a female Pyr, so it's possible she's a Pyr / Newf. If so, she's gonna be a monster! LOL

This is probably the easiest way to share the photos. It's Facebook but you don't have to log in. I've got it set to public access so anyone should be able to click the link and see her pics!

I'll add a photo here since I know some people don't even want to view a public FB link. Just trying to find a small one!

She looks like she's gonna be huge! Least she's younger and people will be more willing to give her a home. What a cutie!

Markings appear Border Collie...ish but the bone structure appears something bigger. It will be interesting to see what a vet sez her age is.

Oh she's too cute, what great photos, so glad she's w/ you and will be going on to another place where she'll also be safe. I hope her sibling ends up getting a lucky break too but would not run out unnecessarily for coffee filters, LOL.
