Yes - the Meet and Greet went better than anyone could have hoped for!
No aggression and I think the pictures say it all! She is a little confused and scared. Chessies bond with their owners and she has been back with the breeder long enough that she had formed a bond with her. Now she has to learn that we are her new family! She is sweet but wild. Manners will be the first lesson that will be reinforced. Right now she is laying down right next to me so the new bonds are forming.
The second dog in line is Molly in the first photo. We didn't pose this picture. They lined up all on their own! The other picture is with me (not the best one of me...look at the dog...look at the dog!)
I'm so happy for you and for Molly! She looks like she's been there all the time in your pictures, and she for sure is a beautiful girl!! Congrats on your new addition and welcome home Molly!
Thanks everyone for the good wishes. Our girl is enjoying some "down time" right now. She's had a pretty full day.
She:
met her new people
met her new pack
went for an hour walk around the neighborhood
And had some quality fetch time in the backyard with Mom
As I always say.... A tired Chessie is a happy Chessie
