Chiroptera - here's the deal, set up a video recorder, so when you go off to work or run errands and Royce knows you are gone...you can see what happens. Btw, we want to see what happens too! (lol) come on now, it will be like sharing a family video. I can't stop laughing (visions of him going for it, getting the vibration, slinging it out of his mouth...and the "deer in the headlights look?" What the heck did mom put on that pillow? Let's try again?! 'Cuz I am a teen and I don't give up that easily. With the vibration in his mouth, the freak out look, crap! I am NOT touching that thing again!!!)

Sorry, it was all a visual...I can't stop giggling.

You know, you can always try the lower setting first to see if it works. It's going to be in his mouth, which will conduct electricity better. If they walk on it their feet are sensitive but if they put their mouth on it, it's a little different.

Now he's a teen and probably because it won't hurt him and it will take him a couple of times to figure out it does not feel good in his mouth. It will save your chair...and you can send it to America's Funniest Home Video's for the $10,000. (j/k) that would give some idiot some idea that may hurt an animal and we don't want that.

Oh man...I am about to get this now that I have seen it in action! My one cat always tries to get on the second shelf of our bookcase, nearly toppling the books over. He likes to lick the pages on some old textbooks from college that I have, and I am worried about him getting a cut on his tongue. We've tried spray to keep him off, tried blocking the case with cardboard and stuff. Not sure what he likes about that particular book. The dog also tries to get on our recliner when we're not at home, so this would be PERFECT!!!! Thanks for posting about this

LOL....well this thing must work (sorry I didn't get any video... ) because this morning it had been nudged a little out of place....and Royce hasn't gone anywhere near it all day. So I think he tried, got smartly startled, then decided it wasn't worth the bother.
