Recently adopted and microchipped dog saves the life of a 3 year old child. (rescued, family)

They had the dog less than a week but it had so bonded with the child that he stayed right by the girl as she walked away from her home. Little girl couldn't tell authorities where she lived but when they scanned the dog they found the address where they both live.

Microchipping and a loyal dog saved this child and family a great deal of grief. My feel good story for today.
