We should pay attention to the different food for different-age dogs.

Blue Buffalo is what I switched to. I don't have a lot of choices due to where I live and like the OP I've been using TOTW for years.

Very frustrating.

Does anyone know anything about Innova Prime? It's grain-free...they made Evo first, right? Then sold it, and now they have another grain free food...maybe it's good?

Ahh!
Who can you trust now???!!!

They're all merging and outsoucing. Even Canidae and EVO?! Those use to be some of the best.

I had a feeling that was going to happen once they went into the big box stores and went big time.

Red Bandanna was the one that someone told me was made and sold locally. They have quite a few stores in my area and sell other brands. Their site doesn't confirm where or who makes their private label.

There's some pet websites that specialize in food delivery, they are also very reasonable. I don't have the links here at work but I have them at home I'll post them when I get a chance.

PureLuck...

if your feeding a GOOD food with meat as the first ingredient its actually been proven thats theres No Reason to feed a "puppy" vs a "adult" food, in HIGH quality foods there the same product...

in CHEAP foods hwoever where the main ingredients ae corn and soy and byproduct, there are significant diferences in caloric count and "additive" content...but in GOOD brand food, theres NO need to worry about age and food...
think about it...naturally puppies would eat whatever their mother is eating...they will however eat a different amount than the adult reccomendations howver i NEVER go off the bags reccomendations anyway.

I am in the same situation you are. That is one of the reasons I went with TOTW food. It is available a reasonable distance from me. Delivery is not always reliable in the winter here.
