Same here. He doesn't always eat all the "lifebits" but seems to like the rest. I use it as training treats too.

I found Dr's Foster and Smith dry dog food Chicken & Brown Rice Formula had worked great for me the past year an a half. Has never been a recall on their food, awesome reviews, and really great prices. I know you said you wanted to pay around the same price $50 for a 30lbs bag, DFS has a 28lbs bag for $37.99. Here is the site, check out the reviews and the great prices they have! Best Quality Dog Foods: Dry Adult Dog Food Lamb & Brown Rice Formula

Almost done with week 2 of a Prey Model Raw food diet for my dogs. Loving the odorless poop and less anxious dogs. They also eat less.

The cost is less as well.

If you google Prey Model Raw you can find the info on it.

I have 3 75 lb dogs and see no benefit from feeding them kibble anymore with their new raw food.

I tried Blue, Wellness and other foods, there is no comparison to raw fed dogs, in MHO.

We ended up trying Acana Chicken and Burbank Potato. It has 5 stars from dog food advisor. Hopefully it agrees with our dog and we can stick with that for a while.

What other brands that have NOT been involved in recalls lately would you recommend? We'd like to stick around $50 per 30lb bag. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
It's quite true to breed different age-old dogs with different food. That's good for their health and nutrition.

Another vote for Blue Buffalo. Our Corgi absolutely loves it. We tried the Freedom grain-free formula a month or two ago,and our dog absolutely devours it. His coat has never looked better either.
