These men went to a lot of trouble to rescue two dogs who had previously spent two days at the bottom of a deep, narrow gorge. Everything is in Finnish but it is pretty easy to understand what is going on (especially the yipping and the wagging tails. The first dog did look rather traumatized, but hopefully is now much better.)

They had GPS tracking collars on.

That is likely how the dogs were found.
