Today has not been a good day as I had to take the car in as the clutch pedal is not coming back up from the floor. ( Hydraulic clutch so hopefully just a leak or even low fluid). Then I had to take Dazzle in to the vets where he remains. He has had diarrhea the past few days and yesterday it turned bloody and today is still bloody. He picks at his food but will eat chicken like nothing is wrong and he does not have a fever. If he thinks I am going out he is right at the door his usualy eager self. The vet did a quick rectal and he screamed so bad that some of the other staff peeked in to see who had just done what to poor Daz. He is a drama queen so do not know if it really hurt that bad or if he was being the drama queen. The vet is keeping him for the day and has him on some IV fluids possiby antibiotis too and I will pick him up this evening. We are running a fecal and blood work so now is that fun waiting for results time that we all hate. My poor handsome Daz. Chaos is upset that her best bud did not come home with me.

Awww I hope he is ok.
I had to take Arwen last month. When they did her blood work I wanted to cry. She was so upset- but I was probably worse - lol

I hope Dazzle feels better soon. When my hound had an intestinal infection on our trip home from New England, blood was squirting out everywhere. It stopped within a few hours of antibiotics, but it was so sad to watch him suffer.

I sure hope it's something very treatable and very temporary. Poor Dazzle -- and poor Chaos (great name!).

Thanks everyone I will keep you updated. Have to go pick him up then take him back again in the AM at least he can sleep in comfort tonight.

((Dazzle)) and ((Dashdog.))

Fingers crossed it's just a bacterial overgrowth and antibiotics will set him right.

Hoping that it is something common, easily treated and not too expensive to deal with either.

Sending a few extra gentle pats for poor Dazzle. (pat, pat, pat)

Also hoping that the car repairs are easy and cheap too.

Did you recently get a tax refund? If so there is probably a third thing waiting in the wings to gobble up what ever little bit might be left after your vet and mechanic have finished with you.
