1: 7 week old puppy, i wont say what i want to say but she NEEDS to be fed at least 3 times a day...
2: 7 week old BULLDOG puppy, crate train and/or x-pen. not only to prevent chewing but also to help with potty training
3: OOOOOOHHHHH boy are you in for some fun. you realize buldogs of all kinds ae hard headed PUPPIES untill they are bout 3 years old right...
you think chewings an issue now...wait till shes a 60lb 6month old TEETHING

id suggest puzle toys, bullies are smart an get bored easily, theyo ten to be food motivated, so toys like a kong filled with dry food then the hole stuffed with peanut butter. or a big treat ball again filled with a dry treat that she has to roll around to make the food fall out of)
safe chewies like bully sticks and antlers are also great. and i love the "cuz" line of toys (doers just starting to chew the foot off his big bad cuz (dozer is a 100lb 11/2 yr old mastif bulldog mix, hes still a puppy and will be for about another year and a half...heck...hes still growing LOL!)

EXCERSIZE...short but frequent,a 1 hour bout is too much at one timebut not enough to wear her out...its hard on their joints...instead 15 mins first thing in the morning, 15 mins just before ou leave for work, 15 mins whe you get home, 15 mins after dinnner, 15 mins before bed...ad thats STRUCTURES excersize, (ie a walk) add 10 mins of "training" at least 3 times a day to that (can be as simple as making her sit or her meals, or comming when called in the back yard) and AT LEAST 30 mins twice daily of "free excersize" (none sturcuted ie just playing "run around the back yard" or chasing a ball down the halway ect...

at this age EVERYTHING from training to feeding to potty breaks should be FREQUENT and short for best results.

and PLEASE remembershes a BULLDOG, they are highly inteligent, HIGHLY trainable and STUBBORN AS MULES!!! youll need patients and a sense of humor...
most bulldogs are increidbly smart...but they also have the focus of a squirrel with ADHD on speed! they get ored and when a bulldog is bored its DESTRUCTIvE!

Oh and given her ages, socilization with other dogs is going to be realy important! id REALY suggest a puppy traiing/sociliztion class once shes completly vacinated.
puppies REALY NEED socilization with momma dn pups untill 8-10 weeks of age...(or another well rounded mature dog) theres thigns we cant tech em..becasue well...were NOT dogs!

Oh I agree, for sure your pup needs a LOT of heavy socialization for the next couple of years at least. Bully breeds have a propensity for being bull headed and animal-aggressive; she needs to learn manners starting now, especially since you got her so young.
And training. Make all treats, starting now, conditional on something...touch, sit, down, come, get it, leave it, whatever. Make it fun. Training should be structured play. She is no doubt a smart, work-oriented puppy and puppies are little sponges when it comes to learning.
And classes.
And I wouldn't be letting her on the furniture like that either. Or if you do, start telling her when it's OK to get on the furniture and when to get off when you ask, starting now.

It is not a rare breed at all. Where did you get that? From the website? LOL.

It is a type, not recognised by any registry. A type (not a breed) that about 30 years ago some people tried to create and are still trying to standardise. There is, actually, no such thing as an "alapaha bulldog," except in the eyes of the alapaha bulldog made-up registry. Show me an actual standard and I will change my tune. The current standard is pretty silly and who would take it seriously?

The Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog Association Official Website

Nothing wrong with that, but this is just a common bully-dog type that people are trying, and so far failing, to get recognised. So far, it is not a breed, not rare, and not recognised by anybody except the self-titled wanna-be breed association that nobody else recognises. No different to Labradoodles and Goldendoodles and Shnoodles and other doodly-poo-type or ridiculously named mix mutts.

The "alapaha" website tries to look official, but it fails totally. They do, apparently, succeed at duping gullible puppy buyers. Lots of those, apparently!

puppies should not be taken away from thier mother until at least 8 weeks old.She should be fed 3 x day.
Puppies chew, they are still babies. Also just like a baby they need time for their bowels/bladder to gain control.
Have patience and enjoy.

i dont know what kind of pitties youve been around but any APBT with a head that wide, that uch mule wrinkling, or that tall is a backyard bred monstrosity! pitbulls should be a MEDIUM sized dog with a maturel male at a MAX of 60lbs
"Desirable weight for a mature male in good condition is between 35 and 60 pounds. Desirable weight for a mature female in good condition is between 30 and 50 pounds." (form the UKC standard)

the "american bully" is a "hippo pit" and very block headed and winde chested, but there still relitvly SHORT (always below knee height, usually about 15" tall at the shoulder)
the staffordshire and american staffordshire are generally in between but also relitlvy MEDIUM sized dogs at 16" max height at the shoulder for a male...

and this also is where the "pitty problem" comes in...most poeple wouldnt actually knwo a pitbull from ay of the other bully type breeds if one drooled them to death.

that is an alapaha, their origins are old english bulldog (think american bulldog like chance form homewards bound but with more wrinkles x chatahoula, (and any number of other working dogs at the time but the merle comes form the catahoula blood) they should mature at 60-95 lbs (much larger than ANY of the pit and pit "like" dogs (ie the staffy and amstaff) and 18-24" at the shoulder...distinctly Taller than any of the pitty/ptibull like breeds.
