I can't rep you, cleosmom, but I surely do agreee with your very short and to the point analysis of the situation...the shelters are SCREAMING for people to walk a dog and someone's going to do something ridiculous like rent a dog? Wow - we really have become a nation of instant gratification/now-let's-send-it-back, huh?

That seems rather damaging (psychologically) to the dogs... will they ever have a permanent, stable home? Sorry, but if somebody can't bother with full-time care of a dog, they shouldn't get one - period.
