birthday cake recipe (shih tzu, allergy, hurt, white)

Hello!

My shih tzu is turning 1 at the end of next month. I was thinking of baking him a small muffin and put a candle on top.

This is a list of the ingredients (please let me know what I should take out or add):
1. flour (the regular baking flour)
2. shredded carrots
3. eggs
4. apple sauce
5. sugar (not much)
6. salt (not much)
7. butter (? not so sure)
8. bits of bacon (in the cake mix and topping)

He won't have a clue what you're doing but it'll be a cute photo.

No dangerous ingredients on there but may have an allergy to the white flour. I'd use oat flour. You have to have an oil/fat in a "cake" so the butter is the same thing. I'd only let him have a little. You don't want to cause a GI upset for a picture.

Sounds human friendly, tho so enjoy! I may try this with bacon bits in my next cream cheese frosting!

A small cake won't hurt a dog if it is a rare treat. However, if you really want to make the dog happy, make that cake out of meat loaf
