Setter was bought for breeding and hunting and when pinched nerve no breeding and hunting hours cut in half so to be fair to her and his other dogs she came here. She will still be able to hunt just not long days.
She is out of Grand champion feild trialers. My BIL always comments on her black patch eye.

Great pics, everyone.
Keeper, is Gabby a Viszla? Many years ago we picked up what we thought was an Irish setter puppy at the pound. We were puzzled when Maggie's hair stayed short. She turned out to be part Viszla, part something else, but the Viszla definitely dominated. We even got her tail docked like a Viszla (sounds cruel, but she wagged it so hard that it was constantly bleeding.) We had Maggie for 14 years, and my husband's best friend had her littermate Bonnie for 16.
Here is Elwood on the beach, and Elwood and my funny little kitty Willow playing (it looks awful but really they are just playing, they get along really well).

Hard to believe sometimes they go from this to this in a matter of months. From chewing on rubber toys to making my yard look like a bombing in the Middle East.
