A motorist risked his own life to save an injured dog from a busy highway in Houston.

Video from the scene from KHOU shows Rickey Young stopping his pickup truck on the Eastex Freeway, getting out, hopping the highway divider and trying to approach the dog, which he had heard about from a traffic report on the radio.

Every time I approach a lost dog I am petrified that i will scare him/her right into traffic. The beginning of that clip was really scary. Good for you Mr. Young.
