Would somebody really pay $1000+ for a puppy? I can't imagine why.

I understand what you mean, latetotheparty, but at least this one is closed.

Ever hear the story of the starfish?

With all the health problems puppy mill shih tzus and poodles and the like often come with, I can only imagine the issues with Bulldogs. And PA, I can't either, but that is a pretty rock bottom price for English Bulldogs, because their pregnancies and births are so difficult. (OK I guess you're supposed to call it whelping or something, but I know zilch about breeding)
And I do like that starfish story. It's a good thought to help people keep going when it's all so overwhelming.
